Stainless steel has just met its re-match. White appliances are roaring back with a vengeance. The stainless/granite combination is giving way to a more subtle, soft, blended profile. A sense of lightness is returning after many years of darker, heavier - more serious- kitchens. Not to say that stainless is completely trending out; just mixed in with other finishes. White European cabinets and counter tops are combined with exotic woods evoking a warmth to curb the sterile chill of the late 80's..............

What could be more sea-faring than Corian panels cut to resemble shiplap? Genius. There are so many ways to think creatively using a surface with unlimited potential for originality. Shhhh....we won't even talk about function. Let's just enjoy the moment, shall we?
